International Moth

The International Moth is an eleven-foot, high performance, single-handed racing dinghy.
Moths are 30cm wide and are regarded as the hardest but most spectacular class to sail in the world.

The class is proud to be one of the few development classes left in the world and have very few rules and no weight limit.
New boats are made of carbon fibre and weigh as little as 28kg.

Due to open class rules, the modern Moths offer the latest in design and technology.
The boats today fly, 0.5m above the waters surface with the help of hydrofoils and are one of the fastest sailing craft on the water.
